Taylor Hicks took the American Idol title last night. I am extremely pleased with this. I was impressed with the results show itself, normally, I would find myself just wanting the show to end and the results to be given, but this show I really enjoyed. The only point that I disliked was when the 'artist' formally known as Prince was singing.My favorite part of the show was when they had the Best Impressionist Award. They had the winner come up and sing for the millions of viewers, but in the middle of his performance Clay Aiken surprised him. The shocked and elated look on his face was priceless.

i didn't like taylor...he seems a little to eccentric...not in a good way...a little too wierd for my taste
Still very sad Chris left- I think he had the best and most consistent voice, I did like Katherine's voice and personality. Taylor was good but in my opinion not american idol quality, not so sure his music style is going to be a hot seller. Just my opinion
Well, I'm really glad Taylor won it all. I mean ok, Chris or Elliot were better but hey, America is full of idiots so they didnt't make it. The girl Katherine however, was as fake as someone can get. Right from the start I wasnt getting a good vibe from her so Yay Taylor!!!
