I mentioned to a few friends of mine that I was going to give blood at our school blood drive, their reaction: Why?!?!? Do you get paid or something? I was surprised at their response to something that I was excited to get to do, I thought that they understood that it's not about what we get in return, it is about what we can do to help others.

Sure it may hurt a little bit, (I've never givin blood before and some fellow classmates just had to tell me a few horror stories they've heard about the school's drive) but the one pint of blood that I can give can help up to three people. Could you imagine how much better treatment could be if one out of every three people would donate? It would be unreal how much that little bit could help.

Last night I still had hope, but the worst has been confirmed...TONY WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW?!?!?!?
I give up on this show. Palmer, my favorite character, dies in the first show of this season. Edgar, my next fav character, died last week. Tony, replaced Edgar, now dies... Does anyone see a pattern here? Maybe President Logan should be my favorite character...

This weekend was the MI Cheerleading State Competition in Grand Rapids so my team and I went up to check it out. After just over 3 hours in a car, roughly 8 U-turns later, we make it to our hotel! After a night of hanging out, we headed to the competition the next morning. The arena was packed to the brink! We managed to find enough seats, so we all could sit together, in the nosebleed section. Rochester High School... amazing! They took the title. It was close up until the end, the team that took second was in the lead from the beginning but then a massive stunt drop and a hefty penalty pushed them into second place. But Rochester's round... complete standing ovation.

For those of you who think cheerleading is not a sport, you must watch the tape of their round 3 (stunt and tumbling round) and you will not be able to argue against it.
