rainy day

Today was just one of those days... The lay around and do nothing. Listen to the rain and the thunder outside. Sit back and drink hot chocolate & marshmallows. Yep, just one of those days.

*Big Ball*
The Seniors (Black & White) vs The Juniors (Red & Grey)
Big Ball was the highlight of homecoming week to me. The game itself is kinda dumb, trying to toss around a giant ball from endzone to endzone, But getting ready was half the fun! Hours of makeup, teasing, and hair-die... I can't believe people use to tease their hair on an every day basis, crazy!

The Homecoming theme was 007, Casino Royale (Representing our Senior class, graduating in 07). We made lots of posters reflecting the theme, then we had our random ones... 11-6am... lots of randomness. It was fun kids, lots of memories!

Large Picture Posts Coming!!!

hola!

Sorry for the lack of post!
Things have been busy lately with school and everything. Friday night Bedford won their football game against Dexter! It was surprising! The score was 50-something to 30-something, are we going to be seeing a new trend for Bedford…?
After the game the high school had a lock in to decorate the school for homecoming week, I thought it went well. The school is now ready for homecoming! …kinda… But it was a lot of fun, I was able to hang out with some friends of mine that I haven’t in awhile. (I’ll def post some pictures of it later this week)
Today was Crossroads Car Show. I thought it went well for the most part, I was expecting a little bit more from it, but I still think it ended out okay. I was a little disappointed in the lack of advertising this year than the past years. Normally I’d be hearing about the car show on the radio and in the papers, but this year I don’t think we had as much as in previous years. I may have just missed them. (I’ll post some pics later this week from it)

Below is a ceiling mural in a smokers lounge... ironic.

It's all coming together...

The Kids' Street Preschool side looks amazing! Great job Emily Smith for all the hard work your putting into it... freehanding everything?!? It looks awesome! It is exactly how it should look for those kids, straight out of a coloring book! I love it! Great job everyone! I know a lot of time and painting skill from quite a few people have gone into making it possible!

I want to go back to being in kindergarten. Playing dress up whenever I feel like it, going out in public in ridiculous outfits and still be called cute. Even though my clothes didn’t match, my shoes were too big, and I would be wearing the brightest shade possible in lipstick. Then there was the accessories.... Jewelry galore. If it was shinny or sparkly I had it; from crown to handbag, necklaces to bracelets, it was all good. I want to go back to that age were I could wear all of these things and be smiled at, because if I wore them today, I would definitely be getting some type of look.

verse:

So get rid of all malicious behavior and deceit. Don't just pretend to be good! Be done with hypocrisy and jealousy and backstabbing. You must crave pure spiritual milk so that you can grow into the fullness of your salvation. Cry out for this nourishment as a baby cries for milk, now that you have had a taste of the Lord's kindness.

if you haven't heard...

The "Crocodile Hunter," Steve Irwin, died the same way he lived most of his life, on camera. Irwin was stabbed through the heart by a poisonous stingray barb. He pulled the barb from his own chest but died a short time later, and the whole shocking incident was caught on tape because Irwin was filming a documentary at the time of the freak attack...

Today was the first day of high school. I like my classes. I have a good friend in at least every one, and they are semi easy. I have decided that I am going to go out for editor-in-chief of our school paper. A best friend of mine is also going out for it, I wouldn't mind if she got it... maybe co-editors? Thats what we use to do. We'll see how it turns out, but i'm going to take to the hippie style, (Matt this is for you) No worries!

Premier of House tonight! 8:00! come on over

Saturday, in the park...

Yay for Saturdays. This is my last weekend before school officially begins... I'm not ready to go back yet. So lately I have been trying to finish up my AP English homework and get in the mental state for school. (More like preparing myself for having to wake up at 6:30. Blah!)
Last night we had our second home football game. It was good to see everyone. This past Thursday I begun my college classes. It's not too bad, I think I will like my English class. It is like a Bedford reunion in there.

I'm off to find food! Have a happy Labor Day weekend!
