a moment

I would like to give a moment out to this past episode of 24. Amazing... a week till the next one, as a friend of mine likes to say: "Oh, I don't think so."

National Pro Life Day

More than 3,500 babies are surgically aborted every day in America, and thousands more die by chemical abortions. We cannot just sit by and be silent. Wearing a pro-life shirt will open eyes, spark discussion, and save lives. It’s effective, easy, and something that even the meekest of persons can do to take a stand.

Help Cure Abortion by participating in National Pro-life T-shirt Day. Help stop the spread of this “disease” by educating those around you, in class, at the mall, at sporting events or anywhere you happen to be. Abortion is the leading cause of death in America and we will not stop until this “disease” has ended and a Culture of Life has been restored.

Hidden agenda...?

The other day my mom and I were driving in the car while a commercial came on talking about Earth Day. In elementary school to celebrate it we would get a little baby tree to take home to our parents to plant in the yard or maybe have a guest speaker on how to keep our earth clean. But this commercial talked about how Earth Day is really a New Age movement biased on evolutionary thinking. New Age crystals and material how to worship mother earth are popular selling objects around this day. I don't know what I think about this, yes, I can see where people can get that from, but it's really just a harmless day to teach kids the importance of keeping our environment clean.

Flag

I'm told that there is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing its character many times. A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight. I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too. *click the pictures to enlarge*

Pal It Up

*pictures from Pal It Up 3 to come*

monster bunny

LONDON (AFP) - In a tale reminiscent of the last Wallace and Gromit movie, furious villagers in northeast England have hired armed guards to protect their beloved communal vegetable gardens from a suspected monster rabbit.

Leeks, Japanese onions, parsnips and spring carrots have all been ripped up and devoured by the mystery were-rabbit -- prompting the 12 allotment holders in Felton, north of Newcastle, to hire two marksmen with air rifles and orders to shoot to kill.

"It is a massive thing. It is a monster. The first time I saw it, I said: 'What the hell is that?'" the Northumberland Gazette newspaper quoted local resident Jeff Smith, 63, as saying on its website (www.northumberlandtoday.co.uk).

my weekend

Showcase last night, it went really well! There is still a show tonight at 8 and tomorrow at 2, come on out!

This morning I took the ACT test... why does it have to be so early? It wasn't too bad, the essay question was a little bogus though. "Should seniors be givin special privilages such as going off school grounds for lunch, ect..." Yes, they should have different privilages then the underclassmen! Afterwards went out to ihop with a few friends.
Tip of the day: Hot sauce is called Hot for a reason... there will be an aftershock. And you also can't flavor water with the different types of syrup, sounds like a good idea, but it's not.

Tonight is also the 13 Action News vs Bedford All Star game. So after you go to showcase, stop by the game!
Tomorrow morning is Pal It Up! I am hyped for it! I will post pictures.

Still in need of a Pal,
Morgan

Anyone who would like to join, tomorrow morning a group of us are heading out to ihop for breakfast, let me know and I'll give you the details. It's going to be a busy week for me.

This weekend is showcase! Fri, Sat, Sunday

Act this Sat.

Pal it Up is Sunday... I need a pal!

Nicole's Birthday is Sunday.

One more week till Spring Break!

Last Sunday I went to North Points youth group, i really enjoyed it. They talked about how people call themselves christians but then they go out and drink or cuss all the time. This has been something that has been on my mind a lot lately. I am tired of all the poisers! They give the rest of us a bad name, then when people do find out that you are a christian they automatically label you as a hypocrite because of how the christian fakers act. This week I want to challenge you all to not be a christian poiser but to live how you know you are suppose to live.

Time to go to class, thanks for your time, leave a comment
