Keep them in your prayers
Rescue workers in Mexico continue the effort to reach 65 miners trapped by an explosion, but they are making slow progress clearing debris from the mine passage. On Monday, workers in Coahuila state used hand tools to dig their way toward the trapped miners.
They did not use electric tools or lights for fear of igniting explosive gas in the mine.
An explosion early Sunday morning collapsed portions of the mine.
The miners are believed to be about three kilometers from the mine's entrance. Officials said they carried only six hours of emergency oxygen, and as time goes on, hopes for their survival are fading.

Self-Reliance +Emerson
There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorancel; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion...
What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think. This rule, equally arduous in actual and in intellectual life, may serve for the whole distinction between greatness and meanness. It is the harder because you will always find those who think they know what is your duty better than you know it. It is easy in the world to live after the world's opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude. . . .

Pic of the Day
The noise faded into the background as we walked farther down the shoreline. Crisp air whistled as it swirled around us. I looked out across the blue, glistening water and noticed how waves, fireflies imprisoned and placed in a jar, untamed and wanting independence from the constraints of the sea. The shadows lengthened as the sun began to set. Seagulls frolicked above calling out. The sound of the waves folding over each other blended with the seagulls’ coos created a pure and innocent song man cannot mimic. As I stepped along the water's edge, the sand, soft as silk, still had the warmth from the sun present on its’ top layers, but as I buried my feet lower, the cool sensation made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

First face transplant
The world's first face transplant recipient suffered her injuries after trying to commit suicide, her family claimed last night.Isabelle Dinoir, 38, was disfigured when her dog tried to wake her after she took an overdose of sleeping pills, said her 17-year-old daughter.
She added: "We don't know whether it bit or clawed her, but it managed to pull her awake. In a way, it was lucky for her that the dog was there."
The revelation fuelled the ethical debate around the operation, which involved grafting the nose, lips and chin from a dead woman.

Mi Amor
¡Te amo!
Dame un beso,
Hueles de queso.
Comprame un gato
Y dame un pato,
O no mas romance.
¿Me amas?
¡Dame mucho regalos y tu corazón!
