sorry for the lack of update, been busy

Yesterday we had another competition in Northville. Everyone did awesome, were 2 for 2 so far this season. Great job ladies! JV also won their comp... rocking the house!
Next Sat is Ladywood.

Schools been going well, I love my gov class...
We finally got him!!!

The night before we struck, Nicole Dusseau and I finalized the plans; we would get the keys, strike, and be out of there before Roussol suspected anything. After days of us planning the prank is finally on.
11:01 am- I head down towards Rousselo’s room carrying a bag of our supplies. I was expecting to meet Dusseau right outside of Rousselo’s classroom door but when I turned the corner the door to his room was already unlocked and opened. I didn’t think anything of this at first, I figured that Dusseau had already gone and gotten the key to get in. I take a few steps closer to the door when he emerged. Rousselo was coming out of the classroom, and there I was standing there holding some of the supplies to saran-wrap and decorate his room.
11:03 am- Rousselo turns to close the door, if I turned around at this point he would have been sure to suspect that something was up. (He had already heard from “unnamed sources” that someone might do something to his room). I had to think quickly, an old acquaintance was sitting in the hallway taking a test… perfect! I walked down the hallway to stop where she was and I asked if the tutoring center was down this hallway. She replied no the tutoring center is in C-hall fourth hour, which I had already known and I was able to swiftly move out of site from Rousselo before he was able to see what I was carrying. I ducked into the bathroom just around the corner waiting for Rousselo to pass going into the teacher’s lounge just across the hall.
11:05 am- I head out of the bathroom, which made a fine hiding place, and walk down towards an anonymous teacher who was willing to help Dusseau and I out by giving us a key to get into the room.
11:06 am- Dusseau and I enter Rousselo’s room saran-wrap containers, posters, and streamers in hand. We waste no time getting to work… his desk, podium, overhead projector never saw it coming.
11:13 am- The prank was done, only one thing left to do, get pictures of it! Another “unnamed teacher” came in to take a picture for us so we could also be in the picture.
11:15 am- The two of us return the keys, and show off some of the pictures to the teachers who helped us out.
12:30 am- Dusseau and I enter Rousselo’s room for class. Both of us are turned talking to other students in class. (We sit directly in front of his desk). Roussol: “What will you not turn to look at me?” He didn’t seem to mind the trick we’re always pulling little pranks on each other in class, plus when we saran-wrapped his room, we left a small bag of Milky Ways.

exams...

Tomorrow is the last day of exams...whoorah!
PreCalc wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be, but then again I probable got quite a few wrong. Hon English, part 2, is tomorrow.. then I'm done for this semester!
Saturday is the first competition of the season. It's at New Boston Huron. Tonight we had an exhibition at the school where we performed all of our rounds for the parents. I thought it went really well. This season's going to rock, awesome job so far ladies! State bound, what?!?

Behrooz Araz- 24 Character of the Day

Behrooz Araz, not your normal teenager. He was torn between his loyalty to his father and his growing love for the freedoms he enjoyed in America. Behrooz, the timid one who had to brutally beat to death with a shovel the assassin sent by his father to kill him. Behrooz, the almost normal student who watched his mother get shot by his father. He was too Americanized to suit anybody in his house, but he was a hero in the end.

What became of Behrooz? We will never know... (the season ended with him being held in the back of a car if I recall correctly)

Edna Mode-Monkey

This post is dedicated to Amanda Kight. I met her my freshmen year because of our height, both being 4 foot 11 inches, we were placed together to stunt. Over the years they have tried to switch up the bases, but it never fails, our stunting dou prevails. Besides being one of my closest friends, stunting, and running buddy, Kight is to thank for my tumbling skills. Yes, that is right she taught me how to do a back tuck! Super senior? Come on, it's only one more year. This goes out to you Kight, Thank you for everything!

Pic of the day...

I can't wait for this time of year again. Playing soccer outside, ultimate frisbee, it's a beautiful thing.
I love weather like today's. Yes, it could be a little bit warmer, like in the 70s, but the sun is out and that's all that matters. I just got inside from taking a short run, not my choice to... I open the garage door to place something outside and he darts out! The chase began...
Other than that, the day has been pretty normal. Went to church this morning, Adam Davidson spoke, he did an awesome job. The topic was sin and temptation. Here is one of the verses he used that I could really relate to.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

Romans 7:15

It has to deal with Christians who know that they are sinning, but they continue to sin anyways. It's like the little white lie that explodes... frist a small lie then another a little bit bigger lie, and soon it's gargantuan.

Well I'm off to finish taking down the Christmas stuff, funfun! I adore the Christmas season, can't wait till next year!

My Dad had sent me this picture and I thought it was awesome. Here is what the caption says:
Scientist from the RAND Corporation have created this model to illustrate how a “home computer” could look like in the year 2004. However the needed technology will not be economically feasible for the average home. Also the scientiests readily admit that the computer will require not yet invented technology to actually work, but 50 years from now scientific progress is expected to solve these problems. With teletype interface and the Fortran language, the computer will be easy to use.
So that past few days have been full of school, practice, and more practice. This season is really going well. You all are going to have to come out to one of our competitions. Yesterday we had a shortened practice, which I was thankful for! I can't believe how out of shape you can feel after taking less than 2 weeks off of practice, I'm SO sore! lol.

I have my first exam today...hon english, not looking forward to this one. Well I'm off to study while I have some free time in newspaper, wish me luck!

JACK!!!

The day is nearing, I can't wait!!!

Monday, January 02, 2006

I was drawn to these two verses tonight, the second one has really been helping me the past few weeks.

What is Faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we can not yet see.
Hebrews11:1

Trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so will continue to do God's will.
Hebrews10:35-36
